Ninth Week Of Development
Ninth week of development and the last week of production!
We've got some big changes to show you guys! As this is our last week we can produce, we've decided to give it one last final push!
Please look forward to it :)
Developments Last Creations
As we have reached the last week of production, we are now finished with implementing mechanics and will start focusing on polishing as a last push.
The bugs strike yet again!
There was a bug that caused the ball not to move after resetting, which took some time to identify but we've fixed it.
Moreso, the ball now doesn't go outside the arena anymore when it goes too fast!!!
The Pillar animation bug where the reverse animation of the pillars popping out wouldn't work, is now fixed!
The Appearance of Effects!
The artists have created some Visual Effects which we now have used in our game!
Lightning Strikes and Resides
Whenever the lightning event plays, lightning strikes on the puddles and after will leave a lightning puddle.
Smokes Out!
The players dash now causes a smoke effect to appear!
Strikes and Lines
The bounces of the ball are now more visible by adding a hit spark effect on the location of the bounce!
That's not all though, there is now a trail following the ball(subject to change) that displays the trajectory.
It looks cool whenever the ball bounces a lot :)
Look Alive!
The animations are in the game!
Whenever the character moves, attacks or dies an animation now plays!

Filling with props
Our area around our arena has been filled up with the props we made to make it come to life! In the polish week next week, wecan still tweak some colours or materials to make everything fit together. This is what we have achieved until now!
UI Improvements
A versus screen now shows up to confirm that both players are ready
There have also been added warnings for when the events will happen that will change the pace of the game:
An end screen now announces the new champion:
Sound, great creation of this week!
now we have crazy, I mean CRAZY menu music, OST and a lot of different sound effects!
